New Larger Capacity Daikin AURORA Single-Zone Systems
We're pleased to announce the launch of new, larger capacity AURORA single-zone systems! This launch includes 18,000 and 24,000 BTU wall mount systems and 12,000, 18,000, and 24,000 BTU systems using the existing FDMQ ducted concealed indoor unit.
Daikin AURORA systems are optimized to perform in extreme climates, delivering up to 100% rated heating capacity down to 5 degrees Fahrenheit (-15 degrees Celsius) with confirmed, continuous operating down to -13 degrees Fahrenheit (-25 degrees Celsius). For warmer climates, Daikin AURORA delivers up to 100% cooling cpaacity up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius).
The 18,000 and 24,000 BTU wall mount units are new models which provide several features to enhance comfort and maximize efficiency including 3-D airflow, comfort airflow, and an intelligent eye. These features automatically adjust airflow based on mode, help circulate air throughout the room, and enter into an energy saving mode if the room has been unoccupied for 20 minutes. All AURORA single-zone systems come with a 12-Year Parts Limited Warranty*.
*Complete warranty details are available from your local dealer or at www.daikincomfort.com. To receive the 12-Year Parts Limited Warranty, online registration must be completed within 60 days of installation. Online registration is not required in California or Quebec. If product is installed in a commercial application, limited warranty period is 5 years.
The wall mounted indoor unit includes a wireless I/R controller and is compatible with the optional wireless interface adapter and Daikin Comfort Control App.

The new 18,000 and 24,000 BTU AURORA wall mounted indoor unit is only compatible with signle-zone systems. The new 12,000, 18,000, and 234,000 outdoor units are compatible with wall mount, floor, and FDMQ concealed ducted indoor units.

We will continue to ship the current RXL12QMVJU outdoor units that do not contain orders for the FDMQ12RVJU indoor unit model until inventory is depleted.
