New Features and Public API Release for Daikin DKN Cloud Wi-Fi Adaptor

Daikin is pleased to announce that the DKN Cloud Wi-Fi Adaptor (part number: AZAI6WSCDKA) can now operate through voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

To enable the voice control function on Amazon Alexa, add "DKN Cloud NA" skill in the Amazon Alexa app and link the DKN Cloud NA account.

To enable the voice control function in Google Assistant, add "DKN Cloud NA" action in Google Assistant, and link the DKN Cloud account. Google Assistant enables the voice control of the adaptor through both Google Home and smartphone/tablet devices that have Google Assistant enabled.

In addition, the DKN Cloud NA Public API is available for hotel and home automation integration developers. With the implementation of the Public API, third party control systems can monitor and control the Daikin indoor unit with the addition of the DKN Cloud Wi-Fi adaptors through cloud communication. For example, it can be used to connect the VRV indoor unit to a hotel's connected room system and application.
