New Daikin One Home Air Monitor

We're pleased to announce our new Daikin One Home Air Monitor. The device installs easily into the return duct, just before the Daikin One Premium Air Cleaner or other high efficiency filter. It is powered by 24 V and uses the home's Wi-Fi system to connect to the required Daikin One+ smart thermostat.

The Daikin One Home Air Monitor detects indoor air quality (IAQ) events and sends information to either the Daikin One+ smart thermostat, or on the Daikin One Home App where it is visualized. Then, the Daikin One+ smart thermostat provides the homeowner the option to run the One clean feature which operates the filtration system to improve the indoor air quality.

When the concentration of particles in the home is elevated compared to the 7-day baseline, the event will appear on the Daikin One+ smart thermostat and on the Daikin One Home App. The homeowner can take actions to help improve their indoor environment by running the indoor fan using the One clean feature from the Daikin One+ smart thermostat by circulating additional air through the home and through the MERV 15 Daikin One Premium Air Cleaner or other high efficiency filter. Additional actions can be taken by turning on exhaust ventilation which can help remove particulates to the outside.
