Closed for months due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Daikin’s one-of-a-kind showroom in New York, the Daikin Comfort Design Center, re-opened to the public on Thursday, Sept. 10.

The Daikin Comfort Design Center is the company's first in North America and was designed to connect its revolutionary technology with the wider community.

"It’s great to be back. The Comfort Design Center is so important for us and we can finally re-connect with homeowners," said Comfort Design Center Office Manager Hunter Isnardi. "There is only so much you explain over the phone about how we can impact their home environment and comfort."

The re-opening was met with eagerness by a waiting list full of potential customers that has already generated potential leads following scheduled visits.

“We’ve been stressing safety for our customers and take precautions with temperature screenings and social distancing,” Isnardi said. Even with certain limitations, we’re closer than we could ever be over the phone, so it’s been really nice.”

The Center will continue taking bold steps in establishing Daikin as a transformative force in the North American residential sector becoming more inverter-friendly by engaging local schools, and the civic and business communities as much as possible through planned events and educational outreach.

Focused on education and awareness of present and future indoor air, environmental and sustainability issues, the dynamic showroom showcases Daikin’s unique solutions to those for small businesses, homeowners and industry professionals. It highlights heat pumps and inverter systems, as well as technologies like Daikin Fit, VRV LIFE and the new Daikin One+ smart thermostat that address emerging issues created by a growing global population.
