New Homeowner Report in Daikin One Cloud Services

Written by DCP News on Monday December 6, 2021

Daikin One Cloud Services can now provide Daikin Comfort Pros with a Homeowner Report; a snapshot of the configuration of the system at the time the report is run. This report, in .pdf format and suitable for printing or attaching to an email, details the equipment installed and some of the key settings used to optimize the system for comfort and efficient operation.  This report can be generated as soon as the system is on Daikin One Cloud Services and can be run at any time during the life of the system, as many times as desired.  Currently this report is only available for unitary split systems, but ductless and VRV systems will be added in future updates.

Uses

The Homeowner Report may be used as a "birth certificate", creating a snapshot of system settings and performance on the day of install, or as validation of operation after a service call.  It might even be helpful as a sales tool, letting prospective customers know the type of thorough and professional documentation they can expect from your company.  The Homeowner Report can provide customers with the peace of mind that your company has provided them with a quality installation and commissioning of their Daikin comfort system.  Going through the report with your customer is an excellent way of building that trust that your team has considered all aspects of their new system and its capabilities.

Creating a report

To generate the report, go to the customer's systems page on the web portal (not currently available on the mobile app), and below the unitary equipment list is a new window, "Reports".  Click on the "Generate Report" button, verify customer information, verify your company information including your company logo (Note:  company logo is required.  Upload it under "Organization"), and then verify the system equipment, and click on "Preview Report or "Generate Report".   Whenever a Homeowner Report is generated, it can be downloaded to be attached to an email or printed, and it will become part of that customer's Cloud Services file, and available for review in Cloud Services at any time by the DCP.

Feedback

The Homeowner Report has been designed with input from many DCPs and is designed to provide the right amount of detail for your customer.  However, your feedback on how to improve this report is encouraged.  Please send your suggestions via email to daikinone.support@daikincomfort.com, using the subject "Homeowner Report".

Coming Soon

Soon, a similar but much more thorough report for DCPs will be announced, containing virtually all the commissioning and set up parameters as well as performance metrics of the system.
