Daikin Social Media Initiatives
We're active on several social platforms. We have a description of each below and how we use them for our marketing efforts. With all of our channels, we encourage you to Follow, Like, and Share our pages and posts.
On April 22, 2019 we announced our new Facebook page, Daikin Air Intelligence! Our target audience for our Facebook page is consumers, and as a secondary target, contractors. As an additional effort to connect with existing and potential consumers, the Facebook page supports brand awareness efforts in North America, allowing our customers to discover and experience our products and support Daikin's brand image through our digital funnel.
Beginning in early May 2019, we have increased our postings on LinkedIn. As you know, LinkedIn is a social networking platform primarily for the business community. Therefore, Daikin's postings on LinkedIn differ from our Facebook postings with the target audience being business professionals - OEMs, distributors, and contractors.
July 1, 2019, we've increased our social media engagement with the addition of Instagram. Being more of a photo sharing social network, this platform will provide a fun area to connect with end consumers, dealers, engineers, architects, distribution channels, and the general HVAC industry.
The Daikin YouTube channel has been around for several years. As you may have noted, we've increased our marketing usage of video content.
