The Daikin Fit system has helped our company grow to an all-time high. We employed several marketing campaigns such as, 'Time to get Fit for the summer' and 'Is your home Fit?'  Customers found this play on words clever, yet intriguing and would often ask what that meant which led into a sales opportunity and often a commitment.  As more were installed, neighbors began to talk and would often recommend Sandpiper for an estimate. This helped us gain new customers and set us apart from our competition.

Being a dealer in the coastal Carolinas, we’ve found the Daikin Fit system be a perfect application for many beach-front homes. Beach-front homes require the condensers to be elevated to prevent potential flood damage. The elevated stands they sit on are often small and cannot be expanded due to lot-lines and set-backs. The compact size of the Daikin Fit condensers allows us to put multiple condensers on a stand with ease and without as much manpower compared to traditional systems. Other beach houses are raised on stilts and have their condensers under the home. The more common top discharge designs often do not provide adequate air flow clearance above it. The side discharge of Daikin Fit solves this problem, and we can even elevate the unit, by customer request, if they want additional flood protection with no hinderance in performance or service.

Humidity removal is a big factor for us along the coast, and customer feedback has shown that the homeowners feel more comfortable in their homes with Daikin Fit.

Lastly, the hydrophilic coating on the outdoor coil helps maintain less corrosion from the coastal salt air compared to systems without any coil protection.
