Daikin Efficiency Advisor Enhancements

Written by Air Intelligence on Wednesday May 27, 2020

The Daikin efficiency advisor is a useful online tool designed to help identify how much can be saved with a Daikin inverter. Daikin North America LLC is pleased to announce recently implemented enhancements to the Daikin efficiency advisor tool.

The Daikin efficiency advisor tool can be found at the top of the www.daikincomfort.com webpage.

The major enhancements are outlined below:

New Input Recap on Results Page
Inputs for the existing home are listed in a bulleted format on the results page.  This allows several scenarios to be run without a need to remember what the inputs were for the scenario or when revisiting it at a later date.  It also lists which type of system is being analyzed (BASIC ASSESSMENT is a heat pump).

New Dual Fuel System Type
Under the advanced assessment found on the second page/step, dual fuel is now an option for system type.  You can run the scenario with defaults based on selections made on the basic page or change SEER, AFUE, HSPF, cross over temperature and energy rates.

Energy Usage Display
The updated energy usage display now shows gas similar to how it appears on a customer’s bill. The results continue to display the estimated potential energy saving benefits of an inverter system, in a simplified format.

Canadian Units of Measure
Energy rates, currency, and temperature are now shown in Canadian units of measure when a Canadian Postal Code is entered on the Introduction page.

Webinar
A webinar reviewing the tool and enhancements can be found on the Daikin Comfort Pro community.
